Carmen Agra Deedy!

Friday, we had a very special visitor at school. The author of many well-known children's books: Carmen Agra Deedy! We had the honor of listening to her tell a very entertaining story about a boy with a big heart who set out on a journey to find his fortune and save his family. She is an energetic and amazingly descriptive storyteller! We participated by joining in with sounds and motions to help keep us engaged and move the story along. Many of our students bought her books, and met her as she autographed them in person! We encourage you to ask your child about her story and to check out her website.
