We had a fantastic first day of second grade! We started our day off by learning about each other and our classroom. Each student shared a summer experience and what they were most excited about for second grade.
We ended our day by finding our own inner superhero by dressing up! We created masks and capes that would help us look and feel like second grade superheroes.

Once in costume, we went to the cafeteria to watch "Omega Man" the superhero! He taught us about believing in ourselves and being kind to others. He also broke a baseball bat over his knee!
We enjoyed our first day together and can't wait to see everyone for day two!

My kids couldn't stop talking about how "cool" their first day was. The capes and masks were so cute :) Thanks for making it special!

ReplyDeleteThe first day of school was great and i coulden't wait to meet my new teachers and i was kind a nerveos when i saw new classmates but now im not nerveos i also learned alot about Omega man that too treat others recpecfully and not to do anythind bad too others and Omega men is right too not do bad things to others so dont be a bully so everyone will stay away from you they just want you to be nice so dont be a bully be a nice bully

I liked the first day of school because we got to do a lot of fun activities like going to an assembly,creating capes and our masks to go with our capes and to share what we did on the summer and to know are classmates better.
